Show Car Restoration and Preservation

Our Services

First off, we are NOT a car wash.

We strive to offer the absolute best value for your money but the only way this can happen is if we truly understand what your expectations are and how you plan to maintain your new finish.

To determine what is best for your finish, it is important we conduct a proper evaluation. This involves visually checking over the vehicle looking for any paint defects. We look for signs of a repaint regardless whether the owner knows this or not, both above surface and below surface defects, and problems that cannot easily be fixed such as checking or delamination. We also need to determine how much paint there is to work with and we have the most advanced tools for this such as our ultra-sonic Defelsko PosiTector 200 which not only measures paint thickness on fiberglass, plastic, and carbon, but it also gives us the thickness of the clearcoat versus the color coat. Whether we need to pull out a digital microscope and blow up a defect 400x or use a magnifying loupe at 10x, the bottom line is that we have the tools and the experience to accurately assess your paint. So before we can begin to solve your problem, we need to know what we are dealing with and these are issues that cannot be answered over the phone or by having the owner perform the evaluation.

Enhancing your paint with the Enhancement Process

We offer 4 levels of paint improvement and it follows the "footer rule". Assuming you feel your car looks to be in good shape, from 25feet away it probably looks pretty good until you get closer. The closer you get, the worse it looks. We can actually improve the paint so that it looks nearly perfect from inches away but to do that, it takes time and that means money.

With our Enhancement Process we focus on improving the gloss of your paint. We can solve towel marring and many of the problems that are instilled from poor maintenance.

Request the Enhancement Process when your biggest concern is to make the car look better on a budget and you plan to maintain your paint using the local car wash or your vehicle will be living outside each night.

The effectiveness of the Enhancement Process relies greatly on the hardness of your paint. In general, many Japanese and some European cars have softer paints which can benefit from the Enhancement Process. On harder paints like the Land Rover, the effects will be less noticeable and often requires utilizing our paint correction services for the best results. In the examples shown here, the paint is noticeably improved however the goal isn't to create a flawless or swirl free finish. The intent is to improve the richness of the paint and gloss at an affordable price range. The process includes full decontaminating the paint and wheels, claybarring to remove bonded contaminants and provide the best surface for the wax to bond to, one step polish to improve the paint finish, and protecting with a durable sacrificial barrier.

The Enhancement Process pricing ranges from $375-$1000 (Depending on size of vehicle)

The Paint Correction

Paint correction can be defined as improving the paint through a subtractive process. There are 3 levels. Minor, Major, and Full Paint Correction. Each level is based around the time required to perform each type of correction. Consider the Minor Paint Correction to be a step up from the Enhancement Detail where paint flaws are addressed. Each Paint Correction level corrects more defects than the other. This is a permanent fix that won't fade or go away in a few months. However the paint will still be susceptible to scratching and swirling, so the "perfected finish" may appear to "go away" because your maintenance process has introduced new scratches and defects to the paint. Your paint has a finite thickness and can only sustain paint correction a limited amount of times. This is why we need to see your car in person at our shop for a free evaluation to determine which level will give your paint the best results.

The price range for this services ranges from $800-$3,000+ (Depends on selected level and size of vehicle)

Regardless of the chosen service, your paint, glass, and wheels will be thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated before using the claying process to remove bonded contaminants that can impede the effectiveness of the final chosen protection.

CS-II Coatings

CS-II Ceramic Coating is a semi-permanent ceramic coating which only requires a single, thin coating and provides long-term shine and protection.

By inter-locking part of its molecular structure with the surface molecules of your paintwork, the result is a coating that will not be washed off like a wax.

CS-II Ceramic coating greatly reduces the penetration of heat, helping protect the finish of the vehicle. Once treated with CS-II Ceramic Coating, your vehicle will repel water and contaminants like a lotus-leaf and will maintain a clear, reflective, showroom like shine. CS-II Ceramic Coating cannot be removed by water, alkaline or other detergents, or by pressure washers.

The coating can also be applied to other chrome components. One application can last up to 5 years.

The Benefits of Ceramic Coating:
